Schmetz Super Universal Household Sewing Machine Needles

Anyone who uses self-adhesive embroidery fleece and spraying time glue or wants to sew on self-adhesive Velcro tape is usually familiar with the unsightly adhesive residue on the needle.
The new Super Universal needle now puts an end to this; it now offers you the industry standard for household needles. The salient feature that distinguishes the Super Universal needle from other household needles is its particularly lubricious non-stick coating with NIT (= nickel-phosphorus-PTFE). It ensures that significantly less adhesive residues adhere to the needle (no needle sticking) and thus the thread tearing also comes to an end.
This effect is supported by the extra large eye, which makes the needle particularly suitable for embroidery. The eye corresponds to that of a 2 NM thick needle. This means, for example, that the eye of a 70s Super Universal needle is similar to that of a normal 90s needle. The special design of the fillet and eye area also ensures that stitch omissions are prevented. Due to the slightly rounded tip shape, the needle can be used with most materials without any problems. The shaft has a particularly strong, conical thickened shaft, so that even thick fabrics such as jeans are not a challenge.

- The needle is particularly suitable for sewing on self-adhesive elements.
